Hi neighbor, my name is Marvin, your local State Farm agent based in Manhattan Beach. My team and I are proud to serve our local community while also helping customers throughout California, Arizona, Nevada, and Oregon.

Most people don’t grow up saying they want to become an insurance agent. I was one of them — until a college internship changed the direction of my life. What started as an opportunity I needed in order to graduate turned into a nine-plus year career in insurance.

What I love about this industry is that it’s personal. Insurance is not just about policies or prices. It’s about understanding someone’s life, family, business, and future, then helping them make confident decisions.

I grew up in Texas and lived there for 24 years, but California always had a special place in my heart. In November 2023, I finally made the move to California and started as a State Farm team member with the dream of one day opening my own agency.

Today, it is truly an honor to serve Manhattan Beach and help customers throughout California, Arizona, Nevada, and Oregon.

Outside the office, I enjoy working out, running, cheering for the Lakers and Dodgers, and spending time with my family.
